Jack Talbott is one amazing guy.  He really is.  I met him at church…he and his beautiful wife Kathy.  They both smile…lots.  I’m pretty sure they both smile so much because of two things:  they know God…and they know each other.

 

Jack was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years back.  He was sitting on the bank of his favorite fishing hole…and was listening to two songs – one of my songs “Never Alone” and MercyMe’s “Even If” and came to the conclusion that this battle wasn’t to be the end of him…he would either be healed…or be Healed.  Either way, he would never be alone.

 

And he wasn’t.

 

He had the support of an amazing wife right to the very end.

 

Jack cared for people greatly…he was “doing” things for others until the point that he couldn’t walk any more.  Even then…he was trying to organize for things to BE done for others.

 

He was an amazing man.

 

…and I’m honored to have known him.
