About Jason Whitehorn

I’m Jason Whitehorn—a worship leader, songwriter, author, teacher, and occasional Christian comedian who believes in the beauty of honest faith, not polished performance.

For over three decades, I’ve served in local church ministry, helping teams lead people into the presence of God with authenticity and heart, not just excellence. I’ve had the joy of mentoring worship leaders around the world, writing songs that find their place in both congregations and quiet moments, and crafting words for the weary, the wired-differently, and the worshipping.

Along the way, my Instagram community has become an unexpected extension of that same calling—where I share worship, thoughts, humor, and honest moments that connect with tens of thousands of people navigating faith in real life.

✍️ Author & Storyteller

My books—like Worship Vibes (devotional for worship teams), Stimming & Stillness (faith and neurodivergence), Be Still: A Guided Christian Journal for Prayer, Gratitude, and Devotional Art Pages, and Charcoal & Grace—are written for people who are done with pretending. Whether it’s a worship team looking to reset their hearts or a believer trying to find peace in the presence of God, I write to remind readers that Jesus still meets us exactly where we are… even when we’re messy, overwhelmed, or in the middle of questions.

These pages are rooted in worship… not performance.
In presence… not pressure.
In return… not striving.

Because at the center of it all, worship is still the place where He meets us most clearly.

🎶 Worship Leader, Songwriter, & Shepherd

Music has always been a lifeline for me. I don’t write songs to chase charts—I write them to help people breathe again.

Over the years, I’ve found myself not just leading songs, but walking with people—pastoring worship teams, sitting in hard conversations, and helping others find their way back to God in seasons where worship feels difficult.

Some songs are born in moments of joy… others in brokenness, healing, and quiet surrender. Songs like As Long As I Have Breath carry that journey.

At the core of it all is this belief: worship isn’t just something we do—it’s the way we live, the way we return to God, and the place where He meets us again and again.

📸 The Online Community (Worship, Humor & Real Life)

Part of my calling as a shepherd has always extended beyond the room—into conversations, relationships, and now, online spaces where people are trying to follow Jesus in real life.

Through my Instagram communities—@jasonwhitehorn. (scroll to the bottom of the page to see some posts) and @toosavedforthis—I’ve built a space where worship, humor, and everyday life all meet in one place.

Some days it’s worship and encouragement for the heart.
Some days it’s humor that helps us laugh at the quirks of church life.
And some days it’s just honest moments from real life and faith in process.

At the center of it all is a simple goal: to help people feel less alone in their walk with God, to create space for honesty without pressure, and to keep pointing back to grace in the middle of everyday life.

Because whether it’s a song, a conversation, or a laugh… it’s all part of the same shepherding heart—just lived out in different places.

Whether I’m writing, leading, singing, or joking—I’m here to point people back to Jesus. Not the Insta-filtered version, but the One who sat with outcasts, wept with the broken, and welcomed the ones who didn’t fit the mold.

Thanks for stopping by. I’d be honored to walk with you, worship beside you, or make you laugh on a hard day.

Let’s keep the vibe real, the worship honest, and the grace overflowing.
