About Jason Whitehorn
I’m Jason Whitehorn—a worship leader, songwriter, author, teacher, and occasional Christian comedian who believes in the beauty of honest faith, not polished performance.
For over three decades, I’ve served in local church ministry, helping teams lead people into the presence of God not just with excellence, but with authenticity. I’ve had the joy of mentoring worship leaders across the globe, creating music that finds its home in both congregations and quiet corners, and writing words that speak to the weary, the wired-differently, and the worshipping.
Author & Storyteller
My books—like Worship Vibes and Stimming & Stillness—are written for people who are done with pretending. Whether it’s a worship team looking to reset their hearts or a neurodivergent believer trying to find peace in the presence of God, I write to remind readers that Jesus still meets us exactly where we are… even when we’re messy, misunderstood, or mid-deconstruction.
Worship Leader & Songwriter
Music has always been a lifeline for me. I don’t write songs to chase charts—I write them to help people breathe again. Songs like As Long As I Have Breath were born out of brokenness, healing, and that deep-down belief that worship isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are.
Christian Humorist (a.k.a. “That guy on @toosavedforthis”)
Sometimes the best way to heal is to laugh. Through lighthearted reels and clean comedy on social media, I poke fun at the quirks of modern church culture while holding tight to the hope that we’re all still growing in grace. If you’ve ever belly-laughed at an awkward altar call or cringed at a worship leader’s off-pitch run, you’ll probably feel right at home.
Whether I’m writing, leading, singing, or joking—I’m here to point people back to Jesus. Not the Insta-filtered version, but the one who sat with outcasts, wept with the broken, and welcomed the ones who didn’t fit the mold.
Thanks for stopping by. I’d be honored to walk with you, worship beside you, or make you laugh on a hard day.
Let’s keep the vibe real, the worship honest, and the grace overflowing.
